Stoni Beauchamp · Founder
I started Ai-dapt Academy in 2023 because I saw that AI would permanently change how we live and work. I wanted people and businesses in our community to understand it and be ready to use it.
Today, I deliver AI seminars across the region and help clients learn, plan and build with AI. My speaking experience includes the 2025 ISPI conference in Jacksonville, the Kansas Economic Development Alliance Fall Conference, and numerous other workshops and conferences throughout the region.

What business surveys, workplace research and model benchmarks tell us about AI.
Reported AI Use in 2026
Two out of three U.S. small businesses reported using AI in the Chamber’s 2026 survey. In 2023, it was fewer than one in four.
The practical question: where could AI help your business?

Reported values: 23% (2023), 40% (2024), 58% (2025), 66% (2026). The report describes an online survey of 3,732 U.S. businesses with fewer than 250 employees, across five waves in 2022–2026. The latest field dates were July 23–August 6, 2026. Page 5 describes the method; page 18 shows this series.
This is the report’s AI-use trend, not a census or an estimate of AI’s effect on profits. Per-wave sample sizes and identical question wording are not supplied in the report.
HBS / INSEAD · 515 Startups
Both groups had AI tools, technical training and accelerator support. One group also studied how AI-native firms redesigned their work.
That guidance helped founders connect AI to the way their businesses operated.

Kim, Kim and Koning’s March 30, 2026 working paper reports a randomized experiment with 515 early-stage ventures in INSEAD’s global virtual AI Founder Sprint: 255 treatment and 260 control firms. The intervention ran from September 8 through the October 26, 2025 endline.
Both groups received AI access, technical training, mentoring and accelerator programming. Treatment workshops added cases and discussions about reorganizing workflows, operations and business models around AI; controls discussed general entrepreneurship. This was a program of guidance, not a test of a single consultation or of ADA’s services.
| Outcome | Estimate & Context |
|---|---|
| Completed tasks | +2.276 over a control mean of 18.518, about 12%. Founder-reported activities coded independently; 507 reporting ventures; p < .05. |
| Paying customers | +11.0 percentage points over 62.6%, about 18% relatively. Endline sample: 479; p < .01. |
| Cumulative revenue | Coefficient 0.653 in log(revenue + 1), summarized by the authors as about 1.9×. Self-reported endline outcome; 479 respondents; p < .10, not the conventional .05 threshold. |
The bars use the rounded headline ratios on a common zero-to-2× scale. They compare relative effects on different outcomes, not absolute task counts, customer rates or dollars. Short-term findings from selected startups do not establish the same results for established businesses. The working paper is not presented as a peer-reviewed result.

Adapted from the source’s public frontier chart for Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, Google and xAI (currently labeled SpaceXAI by the source). All 62 plotted observations were read from the current v4.3.2 chart on October 14, 2026. Values use the source tooltip’s whole-point rounding. The source includes model releases and availability changes; a decrease can reflect availability rather than declining model ability.
The current index combines ten evaluations. Historical model scores shown here use this current snapshot, not scores copied from older index versions.
